RENAISSANCE ACCELERATED READING
You can log into Renaissance Home Connect and view your child's progress with the same user name and password they use at school. If you click View My Bookshelf, you will be able to see covers of all of the books your child has tested on. If you click the book, it will show you the book level, percentage correct, and points that your child has earned.
To find out if a book is AR testable, go to ARbookfind.com. One of the advantages of this portion of the site is that you will be able to see ratings and plot summaries. Books labeled MG mean suitable for middle grades (4-8), but MG+ might have material that you may deem unsuitable for your child. At the CTKCS library we are labeling books rated MG+ as TEEN. If a public library book has an AR sticker, it is testable at CTK Catholic School.
Students entering Grades 2 - 8 are encouraged to read and AR test over summer break at our hosted website.
