Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in donating equipment to the school. We appreciate you thinking of us and are happy to offer you a tax deduction for sharing your used equipment with us. In order to help the school make the most of its resources and provide the best for its students, there are a few guidelines we ask that you observe when donating technology to the school.

• All equipment needs to be in working order. If there are any problems with the equipment, it costs the school time and resources to repair it. If you feel that your equipment's repair issue might be an exception to this rule, please consult the technology lab before donating your computer.
• All computers should be at least a machine with no less than a 3GHZ processor speed and 4 GB of RAM. Anything less cannot run the Windows 10 Pro software that the school uses.
• All computers used at the school are PC platforms. If you would like to donate a Macintosh computer, the Office of Catholic Schools (251.438.4611) would be happy to put you in touch with one of the schools in the Archdiocese that utilizes the Mac format or you can contact St. Patrick's (251.947.7395) in Robertsdale.
• The school will accept any donations of a Chromebook device in working order.
• Any monitor donations should be at least a 15" flat screen.
• Any donations of speakers should include the power adapter.
• All printers donated should be in working repair. Any inkjets donated should be color. The school cannot use any dot matrix printers.
• All cards (sound, video, etc) in the machine need to be functional.
• The school will accept separate donations of working hardware pieces such as keyboards, monitors, mouse, etc.
• The school will accept any donation of a tablet device (Kindle, iPad, etc.)in working order.
• All donations of computer furniture in good repair are gratefully accepted.
